Investment criteria
We partner with MSPs and MSSPs above $2M of revenue and/or $250K of EBITDA. Beyond the numbers, we look for recurring managed services revenue, long-tenured client relationships, and a technical team your clients already trust.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why would I sell to Titan?
Titan is a long-term home. We acquire MSPs to own and grow them, not to flip them. Your business gains a dedicated sales team, elite AI engineers building for your technicians, operational infrastructure, and support on finance, HR, and recruiting. We build for the next few decades, not the next quarter.
Do I need to keep running the company after selling?
That is your call. Some founders want a partner to scale with and stay on to lead. Others are ready to hand it over. We talk through what you want from the sale early, agree on your role and a transition plan, and put continuity for your clients and team at the center of that conversation.
How will decisions get made after the sale?
Your team stays close to your clients and the day-to-day. Titan takes an active role in AI and technology, sales, and back-office functions, drawing on shared expertise across the portfolio. We agree on leadership responsibilities and how we will work together before closing, so expectations are clear on both sides.
How do you decide what my business is worth?
We consider the quality of your recurring revenue, profitability, client retention, growth prospects, and the opportunity to improve service delivery with AI. We discuss price and structure together, including rollover equity, an earnout, or a clean exit. The goal is a proposal you can understand and evaluate as a whole.
Can I speak with founders who have partnered with Titan?
Yes. We will introduce you to the leadership teams at our partner MSPs, including StoredTech and RFA. You can learn firsthand why they sold to Titan and what their experience has been working with us.
What if I'm not ready to sell?
We are happy to get to know you before you have made that decision. An early conversation helps you understand how Titan works and whether we could be the right home when the time comes. You do not need a sale process underway to reach out.
How to sell your company
Week 1:Introductory Call or Meeting
A conversation with our M&A team about what you have built, where you want it to go, and whether Titan is the right home for it. Bring your questions about us, about the process, and about what running the business after close actually looks like.
Week 1:NDA
We sign a mutual NDA before anything sensitive changes hands, so you can speak openly and we can both keep moving.
Week 2:Technology Demo
We show you the platform your team would actually be working in: AI agents running service delivery, the operating tooling behind them, and the reporting your clients would see.
Week 2:Financial and Data Information ShareData Share
You share financials and operating data, and we tell you plainly how we read the business. We ask for what we need to put a real number in front of you, and nothing beyond it.
Week 3:Letter of Intent
We put forward an LOI with a valuation and a structure built around you. Rollover equity, an earnout, a clean exit: we work from what you told us you wanted in the first conversation.
Weeks 4-8:Due Diligence
Our team carries the financial, technical, and legal review so it runs alongside your day job instead of on top of it. Your clients and your technicians should notice nothing.
Week 9:Closing Day
We close, and the work of growing the business together begins. Your brand, your team, and your client relationships stay exactly where they are.
Think you might be a fit?
The best conversations start well before anyone is ready to transact. Tell us what you have built and we will be straight with you about whether there is something here.
